Sasquatch, unless you consider Nessy the loch ness monster Among the list of cryptids known,perhaps none have earned the spotlight more so wildly than the great forest ape himself known colloquially as Bigfoot, the records of these great new world apes existence have been recorded in oral stories and even written by the ancient petroglyphs in every region of the North from,Minnesota, Alaska, Yellowstone and that's just naming a few.the males grow to staggering and impressive heights of 10 to 12 ft,with a handful of unconfirmed sightings of some male individuals exceeding 13 ft tall and they are always reported possessing enormous physical strength when full grown.adults of both male and yhave nothing to fear except the rougarou and dogman who are known to attack them on sight. More often heard than seen their these giants howls and calls can carry over for miles and they can seemingly melt into the forest surroundings with their silent footfalls barely leaving a sound of their passing.These creatures are omnivorous and are very opportunistic,readily stealing from other predators, taking farm crops,and even town garbage cans, their massive jaws are powerful enough to crush bone and can yield forces of over 1800 psi.Most of the knowledge known of their habits comes from second or third hand accounts but most generally describe the same thing,the troop is led by an elder male who can be distinguished by its jet black greyish coat and gargantuan size,he protects and leads the group very similarly like a gorilla troop,when actively hunting he and younger mails take charge,the alpha is the one to lead the hunting team while the females of young and old stay hidden within the trees or in nests made from weaved branches.once the young mails who act as blockers are in position the old males right hand man chases the chosen target to the alpha who before the hunt starts finds a spot to stay hidden,then once he sees the target of choice he lunges out and bites down on the animals throat and kills it instantly then calls the females to signal the meal is prepared...Then they share with all members,but as you probably guessed dispite there abilities to kill they don't enjoy killing other animals,there hunting because eather the alpha has no other choices left or there just isn't enough fruits and seeds,but when they do Hunt the old alpha male not only is the one who kills but he makes sure the animal of choice doesn't suffer from unnecessary pain.witch is kinda sweet considering they have the bite force of 60 silverback gorillas,and while attacks on people arn't unheard,most of the attacks are of the alpha or a mother protecting the next generation...meaning there acting naturally... defending the ones they care for.
